One recent recipient of a loan helped fund is Olga Isabel, a shop owner in Cartago, Costa Rica. Olga planned to use her $1,200 loan to purchase supplies to

make uniforms to sell for the school year which begins in February. Stafford stated, "Like many entrepreneurs, when we began our company we were fortunate to be funded early on through angels. Many in the developing world, where options are extremely limited, are not so fortunate. This is our chance to give back and change another person's circumstances for the better."
